On Friday, Feb. 14, former Ashley Ridge High School standout CJ Van Slooten’s current college team, the Citadel Bulldogs, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UIC Flames.
The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park against Miami RedHawks.
