On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Fort Dorchester High School standout Brandon Phillips’ current college team, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.
The game took place at J. I. Clements Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. at Nielsen Field @ CSU Ballpark against Bellarmine Knights.
