There was one company in a city associated with Charleston County that received an FDA citation as a result of one inspection conducted in the county in February, according to reports from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This is an increase over the number of companies cited in the previous month.

The only citation issued in the county was delivered as ‘Your plant was not constructed and designed to facilitate maintenance and sanitary operations’.

The company cited was in line with FDA regulations, and doesn’t need to adjust its managing operations or regulatory/administrative actions.
