On Monday, Feb. 17, former Ashley Ridge High School standout CJ Van Slooten’s current college team, the Citadel Bulldogs, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UIC Flames.
The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their second matchup against the Flames this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park against Maine Black Bears.
