On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Summerville High School standout Carson Shaw’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Colgate Raiders.
The game took place at Cyrill Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Raiders this season.
The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Cyrill Stadium against North Carolina A&T Aggies.
