Dorchester County Government: Repeal of the Boil Water Advisory

Download

Dorchester County Government issued the following announcement on December 4.

Dorchester County Water and Sewer Department advises the customers of Planters Knoll, Cumberland Way, Quail Hollow Court, 8101-8155 Honeysuckle Lake Drive, 8306-8341 North Ridgebrook Drive and 8101-8115 Pleasant Ridge Drive that they no longer need to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.

Following an intense flushing of the water distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected by the Department and analyzed by our laboratory. The results of this sampling indicate that the water system is now safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.

If you questions concerning this repeal of the boil water advisory, please contact (843) 832-0075 or (843) 563-0075.
