Chamber annual golf tournament winners announced

The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce 26th Annual Golf Tournament was held on Friday, March 3, at Summerville Country Club. The sold-out event supports the Chamber’s mission and scholarship programs. Dinner was graciously provided by Eggs Up Grill.

The winner for the 2023 tournament was RE/MAX- Pratt and Company, a team comprised of Robert Pratt, Jack Ellis, Tim Cone, and Brett Rashtchian. Along with bragging rights for the second year in a row, the team also won a round of golf at the Golf Club at Wescott Plantation.

Claude Blanchard hit the longest drive on hole 12. And Anthony Weston won the closest to the pin award landing his ball within 6.75 inches.

Other awards are being given to our second place team, which was Miler Properties, Inc. That team was made up of Dickie Miler, Jimmy Waring, Scott Campbell and Ken Fulghum. They won a round of golf at The Club at Pine Forest.
