On Tuesday, Feb. 4, former Summerville High School standouts Gavin Mitchell and Tristan Tillman’s current college team, the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, won 9-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgia Bobcats.
The game took place at John Kurtz Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.
The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Stadium against Anderson Trojans.
