On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Pinewood Preparatory School standout Garrett Brust’s current college team, the Greensboro Pride, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Averett Cougars.
The game took place at Ted Leonard Park. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Roanoke Maroons.
