Dorchester County - SC issued the following announcement on July 16.
Last month, after completing work in the Knightville area, Jordan Green with Dorchester County Water & Sewer noticed a young boy playing in his front yard with a new monster truck that he was eager to show off. Jordan befriended the young man and took time out of his day to make a lasting impression.
Jordan joined Team Dorchester County in February 2017 as a System Operator Apprentice. In April of 2019 he was promoted to the position of Sewer Inspector. As a Sewer Inspector Jordan is tasked with training new employees. Due to his patience, knowledge, and training abilities, the department is able to confidently allow new employees to work independently. Jordan has a positive work attitude and is always smiling.
