Whitesville Rural Volunteer Fire Department issue the following announcement on July 17.
What would your one big wish be? For Tommy, it was to have a parade of First Responders make his day extra special. When our friends at Dorchester County Sheriff's Office wanted to make this wish come true, they called for backup, and First Responders from all over the area answered that call.
They had the privilege of participating in the largest Wish Day Parade that the South Carolina Make A Wish Foundation has ever orchestrated. Today is Tommy's Wish Day, and it was special.
The official count was 25 agencies, 3 military groups, 175 vehicles!
