The Mayor and Council of the Town of Summerville are accepting applications from Town of Summerville citizens to fill a vacant seat on the Tree Protection Board. The Board assists the Town in the protection of its tree canopy, grand trees, and landscapes.
The seat must be filled by a citizen who demonstrates knowledge of foresty or horticultural matters.
The Tree Protection Board meets the Monday before the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:00 AM at Town Hall. Site visits are done the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the monthly meeting.
The Town of Summerville supports a policy of equal opportunity. The online application is available on our website under the Government drop down, on the Boards and Commissions page. Applications must be received by July 8, 2022.
